Hi everyone, Melina here just trying out this home page thing. I am a mommy of a two year old with another on the way and that keeps me pretty busy. I live in NYC where I am married and have family. I enjoy many different hobbies including reading esp. horror, writing poetry, cross stich, crochet, and collecting Precious Moments, Cherished Teddies and various other knick knacks.

What's New? 
This is what we now face our husbands, brothers, fathers, uncles-- our men going to war.(above A member of Bravo Company 3/160 Mechanized Infantry cradles his daughter in his arms at the California Army National Guard Armory in Bakersfield, California. The unit is on alert in the wake of the U.S.-led attack on Afghanistan.)
It is now July 30th. The clean up is complete and sceduled rebuilding may begin as early as the one year anniversary. Plans are now being voted on but none have towers as big as the twins used to be. We are officially in Afghanistan in a war that no one knows when it will end. We are no closer to finding Osama Bin Laden then we were before. Some rumors say he fled , some say he is dead I doubt we will ever really know. I fear this war will continue for a long time and afterward no one will be better off then before.
I still wish to offer my prayers and support to all effected by this horrendous act. I pray our children will find peace for I fear we will not.
