Update: April 22, 2002
The clean up process is almost done now.  There are visitor platforms for people to go see the site and the city fights over what to put there. We still recover and memorials are beingg held daily as bodies are still found and identified. May god help us all peace is a long ways ahead.

New York has faced a national tragedy, we have lost the World Trade Center. I can't imagine the New York skyline without these two twin wonders. I don't think that it's that many people that understand exactly what has happened. Many friends and family were in this building thank God those people who we knew got out safely. The horrors that we've seen come out of the rubble are atrocious, twisted steel, paper debris, body parts, and personal belongings of those who unfortunately and tragically met their deaths on Sept. 11 2001. New York City will never be the same. Continuing coverage has only brought more tragedy we still have yet to find out what ungodly creature could be capable of such atrocities. I will never forget that day as long as I live. Out cannot imagine going into Manhattan and not seeing the twin wonders of the world. It is with great sadness and pain that I write this we are all praying that the suffering was not too much. May God bless all families of the victims and and the rescue workers was valiant efforts are greatly appreciated. These twin structures represented more than just New York they represented freedom to the world and they represented the financial prosperity of the United States. No one will ever be the same, no one will ever be able to realize all that has been lost. Many people remember when these buildings were built in 1976. Many more people will remember the day they collapsed. But can't begin to express my sorrow as to we've lost. Sept. 11th in 2001 will be a day that no one can forget for that is the day Americans lost their sense of security. No one could ever believe that a terrorist could get this close or cause this much damage.
